NWA World Tag Team Title Match
The Four Horsemen (c) w/ James J. Dillon vs. Sting and Dusty Rhodes
Stings star was rising fast and Dusty was a certified icon in Florida. I mean no exaggerating when I say the crowd was rabid for everything the baby faces did. The baby faces actually the early part of this match, out running the Horseman and throwing fists, elbows, and Figure Fours at the heels. The numbers game and craftiness of the Horseman eventually swing the moment back to them. They continue to work over Sting until it’s time for the hot tag to Dusty. Like I said the crowd was rabid for The American Dream.
Things breakdown and both Stinger and Dusty throw the ref to the ground which is Barry Windhams due to run in and cause the official DQ. Flair joins them and with the numbers 4-2 the Horseman begin to lay waste to the babyfaces.
This ruled. Anderson and Blanchard are so smooth at everything they do as a heel team, they had that shit patented. Dusty was over as a motherfucker while Sting brought a lot of fire to the mix.
