Battle of Los Angeles First Round Match
Kamaitachi vs. Trevor Lee
Kamaitachi better known as Hiromu Takashi and Trevor Lee better known (maybe) as Cameron Grimes. These two waste zero time getting shit started. Seriously, there’s an Apron Powerbomb not even two minutes in to the match. PWG the best. Lee takes full control with that spot Randy Orton used to almost paralyze a Singh brother but on the apron instead of the announce table. Kamaitachi tries to mount a comeback multiple times but Lee shuts it down.
Kamaitachi finally takes the power back with a Running Frankensteiner and his insane Senton Bomb from the top to the floor. A stupid spot really because there’s really no good way for the opponent to catch him and no way to land safely so he just kind of splats onto the floor and it’s cringe inducing. It doesn’t help that he gets spiked with an Orton DDT almost immediately after. The match is back in Lees favor but with more consistent counter fire from Kamaitachi. The two trade close calls and big spots before Lee finally seals the deal with Gods Last Gift.
Oh boy, oh boy this is my fully my shit. No nonsense, no bullshit, just bell-to-bell insanity. Kamaitachi is always a blast to watch. They barely slowed down for a second and the crowd was into every second. Classic PWG which isn’t for everyone but definitely for me and I’m the one doing these reviews so two thumbs up from me.
